INVISTA is seeking a Project Manager to support capital project development for its operating facility in Camden, South Carolina. The successful candidate will assemble and lead cross-functional teams to efficiently implement site projects as required to meet the objectives identified by the operating business. This position is accountable for project planning, design development, and execution, including creation of schedules, cost estimates, and scopes of work for projects generally ranging in size up to $10MM. We are seeking an individual who can manage multiple projects in various phases, from early planning efforts to construction and close-out following best practices. What You Will Do * Managing multiple capital projects using a phased project execution framework that ensures the quality and competitive performance expected by stakeholders * Leading a project team consisting of engineers, operations, construction, and vendors to ensure all aspects of the project are properly considered, including scope selection, safety, environmental, construction, operations, and reliability * Effectively managing costs and schedule to drive toward best in industry performance * Developing comprehensive project execution plans with focus on scope, cost, schedule, risk management, engineering, procurement, and construction * Communicating capital project status to various stakeholders within the organization * Recognizing opportunities for value creation and innovation in the project management work processes * Communicating with various levels of an organization (engineers, managers, senior leadership, constructors) * Conducting field visits to monitor project progress, collaborate with the team, and offer feedback and recommendations. This role may involve physical tasks, including climbing ladders or stairs to elevated areas as needed to support project goals Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Seven (7) or more years' experience in project development and execution in a manufacturing setting * Experience leading teams and managing multiple initiatives, priorities and/or projects * Bachelor's degree or higher, OR ten (10) or more years' project management experience in lieu of a degree What Will Put You Ahead * Experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or industrial sectors * Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the project lifecycle within a matrix organization * Experience in industrial automation or controls, including knowledge of systems and processes * Experience with EcoSys, Smartsheet, SAP, or similar project management and resource planning tools * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
