SUMMARY

The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Human Resources Department with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding, employee benefits, and company events. The candidate will use the verbal and written communication tools they have learned through education and apply them to a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of Human Resources

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assisting with the steps of the new hire and recruiting process.
2. Supporting the local hourly orientation program.
3. Proficient with technology and assisting others with technology
4. Responding to unemployment claims.
5. Auditing of various paperwork and processes.
6. Filing of employee documentation and paperwork.
7. Customer service oriented

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required: Actively pursuing Associates or Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Current or recent graduate of an Associates or Bachelor's degree program related to Human Resources or Business

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology applications
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office setting.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $20.00.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
