Responsibilities

The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program is dedicated to supporting our intelligence customer across multiple operational locations. Our primary mission is to drive the transformation of current services by incorporating leading-edge technologies. This includes developing and implementing new designs and operating enhanced services. Over the course of the contract, we will continuously improve services through technological modernization across Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Unified Communications (UC), Video Telecommunication, and Streaming Services.

What You'll Get to Do:

As a Circuit Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting enterprise network operations by overseeing communication circuits. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with NOC, operational, and engineering teams to maintain and optimize network circuits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime. You'll be tasked with resolving critical outages, developing technical resolution reports, and supporting network upgrades and implementations. Your experience will be key to maintaining operational efficiency, both in routine operations and troubleshooting complex network challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

    Circuit Management & Maintenance:

    • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of communication circuits to support ongoing network operations.
    • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of communication circuits to meet operational and customer requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

    • Monitor circuit performance to ensure optimal function and security.
    • Identify and resolve issues with communication circuits, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining uninterrupted service.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Coordinate with NOC, engineering, and operational teams to meet circuit requirements and resolve issues.
    • Serve as a liaison between various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth circuit operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for network and circuit operations.
    • Prepare technical resolution reports for critical network outages and service disruptions.
  • Network Administration Support:

    • Troubleshoot systems failures and network accessibility problems.
    • Support the implementation of new or enhanced network services, ensuring seamless integration of new circuits and services.
  • Ticket Resolution & Incident Analysis:

    • Manage network service tickets and coordinate resolution with Network Operations staff.
    • Categorize service requests, analyze incidents, and determine root causes for network issues.
    • Use administrative access to network components to provision switches, routers, VLANs, and cryptographic solutions.
  • Monitoring Systems & Performance Optimization:

    • Configure, deploy, and maintain monitoring systems used to track and ensure the availability of network services.
  • Independent Work:

    • Operate independently with minimal supervision, particularly in remote locations where you'll solve technical issues and ensure operational continuity with limited input from other teams.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Education/Certifications:

    • Bachelor's with 3+ years of applicable experience; Master's with 1+ years of applicable experience; 4 years of experience can be subsituted in lieu of degree
    • IAT Level II Certification required.
    • TS/SCI Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • Experience:

    • Strong experience in network administration and circuit management, with a solid understanding of how communication circuits function within enterprise network environments.
    • Experience with troubleshooting network and circuit issues, as well as working collaboratively with teams to address network service disruptions.
    • Proven ability to analyze incidents and resolve network-related problems effectively.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
