Senior Accountant

We are a dynamic and fast-growing private equity-backed company seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant at AccordCare, you will play a key role in our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will manage the preparation of financial statements, handle budgeting and forecasting, and assist in month-end and year-end closings. This role involves analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting leadership with strategic financial insights. You will also collaborate with various departments to ensure the financial health of the organization. Experience with healthcare or home care industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing general ledger activities
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports
• Assisting with audits and regulatory compliance
• Providing financial guidance to team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. Senior/supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in the home care or healthcare industry is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar), Excel, and other financial management tools is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance (including GAAP) is required.
• Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
