Job Description

Salary Range:up to $115,000 annually (depending on experience)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Automation Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to optimize and streamline business operations. The Automation Developer will work closely with analysts, project managers, and IT teams to identify automation opportunities, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Design & Development:

  • Design and develop automated processes and workflows that align with business objectives. Utilize automation tools and technologies to streamline operations across various departments and functions.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and IT teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into automated solutions.
  • Ensure that the automation strategy aligns with overall business goals.

Implementation of Automation Solutions:

  • Develop and deploy automation scripts, bots, or applications to improve business processes.
  • Ensure that automation solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and robustness.
  • Identify and resolve issues or bugs in the automated systems and workflows.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor the performance of automated processes and continuously identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation and integrate new tools or methodologies when applicable.

Documentation and Training:

  • Document automation solutions, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members and business users to ensure the successful adoption of automation tools.

Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide ongoing support for automation systems, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve problems in the automated processes to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (X years) in automation development, software development, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and technologies such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, JavaScript, C#, or others commonly used in automation.
  • Experience with scripting, APIs, and web services to integrate automation solutions with existing systems.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing, and deployment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based automation platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of databases and experience with SQL or NoSQL for data-driven automation.
  • Certification in automation tools (e.g., UiPath RPA Developer Certification).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship is Required
