Ryerson is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Financial Planning Analyst - Pricing to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Manager of Pricing, leveraging cutting-edge tools like TM1, Cognos, PowerBI, and SAP to deliver insightful pricing analysis and quantitative insights across all the 100 plus North American locations. Your contributions will empower local, regional, and corporate management, driving strategic decisions and fostering growth.

• Work with financial, accounting, operational, sales, and inventory data and team members to help improve management understanding of the business and foster better decision making
• Transform analysis and reporting to present actionable insights and recommendations
• Oversee budgeting process and models to forecast future performance and assess scenarios
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to existing processes and internal controls
• Participate in cross-region projects designed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of reporting, analytics, and business performance

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum 1-3 years of applicable work experience
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel
• Experience with Cognos or PowerBI (preferred)
• Good understanding of financial statements
• Communication and interpersonal skills in interacting across multiple departments and levels
