Job Description
The Clinical Informatics II leads a collaborative team planning and implementing clinical systems within patient care areas. This position is responsible for all aspects of planning, design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance and ongoing performance evaluation of clinical information systems. This position utilizes knowledge and skills of nursing practice and clinical processes to determine best practice workflows and use of clinical applications across the enterprise. This position analyze current end user service area requirements, procedures, and workflow, in order to provide application solutions that support and improve organization and/or department operations. This position maintains knowledge of HIT standards to ensure clinical systems meet regulatory agency requirements. This position develops and maintains a positive working relationship with clinical and administrative end user departments to ensure optimal utilization of the health system's clinical applications, while providing appropriate levels of end user training and education. This position mentors other team members and takes an active part in leading group discussions. Responsibilities
