Application Window Open date: July 22, 2024 Most recent review date: Thursday, Aug 22, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jun 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of California, Riverside has need for part-time or full-time Lecturers beginning the Fall Quarter for the 2024/2025 academic year to teach courses in the following areas: Introductory Computer Science, Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Software and Information Systems, Technical Communications and Software Engineering. Qualifications include a M.S. or a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field, prior teaching experience is preferred. The initial annual salary for candidates with an MS degree is $81,492 and for candidates with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, the salary is $100,224. Salary for the Fall quarter appointment begins October 1, 2024, and ends December 31, 2024; the academic service period for the Fall quarter is September 23, 2024, through December 13, 2024. Salary for Winter quarter appointment begins January 1, 2025, and ends March 31, 2025; the academic service period for Winter is January 2, 2025 through March 21, 2025. Salary for Spring quarter appointment begins April 1, 2025, and ends June 30, 2025; the academic service period for the Spring quarter begins March 26, 2025, and ends June 13, 2025. Lecturer appointments are eligible for renewal depending on need, funding, and performance.
