Senior Manager, SAP

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Senior Manager, SAP S4/Hana is responsible for leading a high-performing SAP team to drive the design, positioning, estimation and implementation of innovative SAP Rise solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency for our users.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This US-based role directly manages internal SAP and EDI team along with external outsourced support team and is based in the Morristown, NJ office.

This role reports directly to the VP of IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

• Provide advanced support and development in all areas of SAP including FI, SD, PP, PM, QM, MM, WM, ABAP, CPI, ATTP, Serialization, ODATA/UI5, Security, and Basis in Rise.
• Organize and lead the project staff, preparing and monitoring project time lines, tracking budget/spend and reporting key project measurable/indicators to senior leaders.
• Provide SAP s4/HANA support and best practices.
• Manage and implement EDI with customers as well as within the region SAP system.
• Support end-users in all areas of SAP by developing customized functionality, troubleshooting all areas of standard SAP functionality, and developing/modifying custom SAP reports.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects.
• Drive the adoption of new SAP technologies (Rise, BTP, DataStream, Fiori) to optimize business processes and improve user experience.
• Successfully lead, coach and mentor the SAP Team.
• Support and manage relationships with external vendors, SAP partners, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate SAP s4/HANA technology trends, setting standards and executing projects for the organization.
• Ensure and actively monitoring total client satisfaction through the Project lifecycle.
• Oversight and management of the external interfaces into SAP system
• Manage all aspects of Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to executive team.
• Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
• Convey and report status to executives, business partners and all other key stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice to the business to address demands using SAP and or standard solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Project Management or Engineering
• MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
• Experience with s4/HANA in cloud
• Nice to have pharma/CSV/Validation/GxP experience
• 5-7 years of experience with SAP ERP
• 3-5 years of people management preferred
• Experienced with SAP project management methodologies within the pharmaceutical industry
• SAP Certifications
