Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified COUNTER SALES PERSONS for our Albuquerque, NM location.

OBJECTIVE:

The sales position is to assist the customer by providing excellence in customer service. Sales Counter Representatives are responsible for performing customer service tasks in accordance with company business practices and in the professional manner required to build market share and maintain repeat business with our valued customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists customers with their sales needs, providing price and product application information, as well as informing customers of promotions and quantity prices.
  • Takes telephone orders, provides delivery information; also writes up mail orders. Additionally, handles special orders; will calls, non-stock items, and returned merchandise.
  • Maintains good housekeeping in counter sales area; arranges displays and replenishes out of stock items. Assists in filling orders from the warehouse as needed. Keeps catalogs and price lists up to date.
  • Handles back orders and warranty claims in accordance with company policy. May do some buying on assigned product lines.
  • Timely handling of customer inquiries including: Coordination as needed with outside sales on their assigned accounts, accounting department, shipping & receiving, vendors, technical support, managers, purchasing and other departments or personnel as directed by management.
  • Process shipping orders in the Sales System on the computer.
  • Know required features and demonstrate proficient use of all job support tools including computer system, telephone, fax, E-mail, voice mail, copier, and other job reference materials and documents.
  • Participate in personal development including activities as directed by management which can include:



QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:

  • Experience and knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Proficient use of job support tools including computer, telephone, fax, e-mail, voice-mail, etc.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and problem solving skills
  • Good reading and comprehension skills
