Job Details This is a hybrid position, 50% onsite in Center City.Responsible for developing relationships with HR leadership and hiring managers to design successful talent acquisition solutions to ensure top talent is hired to meet current and future business needs. Responsible for managing talent pipelines to attract a highly qualified, diverse workforce to Jefferson. This position is responsible for supporting all Talent Acquisition efforts related to the recruitment of non-exempt and exempt employees. Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead/Supervisor/Manager with all recruiting-related functions, projects, hiring and execution of talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Jefferson's staffing and talent needs. Essential Functions *Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. *Participate in recruiting process including sourcing, phone screening, selecting, interviewing and scheduling candidates for interviews and related follow up *Ensure all recruitment processes and hiring checklist items are completed and documented, including but not limited to preparation of correspondence, ensuring copies of materials are provided for employment files for hired candidates, offer letters/employment agreements, regret letters and communications and preparation pre-adverse and adverse impact letters where necessary *Obtain necessary pre-hire documentation from candidates including compensation history, reports, confirmation of prior work experience, certification confirmation or other job-specific required credentials of market and practices. Develops recommendation for new salary grades based on market annually or ad-hoc. *Actively engage and bring forth ideas to be best-in-class in terms of recruiting process and procedure. Recommends appropriate action to HRBP/department head on salary grade assignment *Participate in recruiting process including sourcing, phone screening, selecting, interviewing and scheduling candidates for interviews and related follow up *Serves as a subject matter expert on recruiting strategies and tactics and provides consulting and coaching to hiring managers. Ensures each candidate has a positive experience at every touch point in the recruitment process to include the application, interviewing and hiring process to influence their decision to choose Jefferson. *Develops an expert level of understanding of all business areas being supported. Manages the recruiting lifecycle consisting of presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components of the process *Builds and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders while providing an exceptional customer experience. *Ensures a continuous flow of talent is available by using proactive sourcing, technology and utilization of external partners. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): HR Policies, Standards, and Procedures - A solid understanding of company policies and procedures related to onboarding, employment eligibility verification, and other relevant areas is important for ensuring compliance and providing accurate information to new hires. Problem-Solving Skills - Pre-boarding specialists may encounter challenges such as last-minute changes or unexpected issues. The ability to quickly assess situations and find solutions is essential for keeping the pre-boarding process on track. Time-Management- Pre-boarding often involves working with tight deadlines and juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective time management skills help ensure that all pre-boarding activities are completed in a timely manner. Cross Functional Collaboration - Working closely with HR, hiring managers, IT, and other departments is common in pre-boarding. Collaboration skills facilitate smooth coordination and information sharing to ensure that all necessary preparations are made. Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge - Awareness of state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and healthcare industry guidelines in recruitment and hiring processes within Jefferson Health. Adhere to changes in licensure requirements, background check procedures, and other legal considerations affecting staff recruitment for Jefferson Health. Customer Service Orientation - Being approachable, responsive, and helpful is important for providing new hires with a positive pre-boarding experience and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Communication Skills - Clear and effective communication is essential for providing new hires with important information about their upcoming start date, what to expect on their first day, and any necessary preparations. Adaptability - The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities is important for pre-boarding specialists, as they may need to adjust their plans or procedures based on the needs of the organization or individual new hires. Sourcing Skills - Ability to identify and attract candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals. Candidate Assessment - Proficiency in evaluating candidates' skills, qualifications, and fit for specific roles through resume screening, interviews, and assessment tools Relationship Building - Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues, fostering positive relationships throughout the recruitment process. Data Analysis - Capability to analyze recruitment metrics and trends to optimize sourcing strategies, improve candidate experience, and enhance hiring outcomes.
