JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Business Analytics Intern

Reports To: Director of NectariQ

Location: Norcross, GA, Hybrid or Remote

Salary/Hourly Rate: NA

Type: Internship

Job Summary: IBEX is seeking a Business Analytics Intern to develop four industry-specific Economic Impact Reports. This role offers hands-on experience in business analytics, industry research, and data visualization, creating reports for C-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct industry research and economic impact analysis across four key sectors:
  
  
  
  • Women-Owned Businesses in the U.S.
  • IT & Technology Industry - Global Footprint
  • Healthcare Sector Trends
  • Entertainment Industry Analysis
  
  
  
  

• Develop four 10-12-page reports, each structured with a top-down funnel approach:
  
  
  
  • The first 5-6 pages will provide a holistic industry overview using data from sources like the Census Bureau, World Bank, and other leading research organizations.
  • The remaining pages will present customized data-driven insights derived from NectariQ.
  
  
  
  
• Compile key statistics, trends, and economic forecasts to inform C-level stakeholders.
• Design charts, graphs, and data visualizations to enhance the readability and impact of each report.
• Ensure reports are professionally formatted and presentation-ready for executive audiences.
• Collaborate with IBEX leadership to align research findings with business goals.

Experience:

• Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office, ZOHO, SharePoint, and online software applications. Excellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills. Ability to multitask, work with a sense of urgency, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and prospects.
• Must have current US work authorization.

Internship Details:

• Duration: 3 months (or until the completion of four reports).
• Compensation: Unpaid internship.
• Performance Evaluation: At the end of the internship, IBEX will review the intern's work and assess potential opportunities for future employment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: This role involves a blend of corporate office and remote work. Physical demands are minimal; occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.

Appearance: All personnel shall wear business casual clothing for daily work. The attire worn should always ensure employees' safety from working conditions (long pants, appropriate shirts, and closed-toe shoes as required). Occasionally, staff may be required to wear business dress for certain activities.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk, or hear, and occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.

• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise reports.
