Title: HealthCare Compliance Specialist Duration: 4+ months Pay rate: $25.00/hr. on w2 Without benefits. Location: Paramus, NJ 07652 Shift timings: Mon-Fri (8 AM - 3:30 PM) BG/DT required: Yes Job Description: To ensure that the Facility is incompliance with the Prevailing Rate and Medicare Part A billing of our Service-Connected Veterans. Communicate with and verify all provider for SCV. Manage and Receive provider invoices via the VHP-Service Connected email account. Audit SCVs chart/EMR to verify Provider invoices rendered services. Ensure that Providers bill the facility with Medicare rate for specific services. Each Provider will bill each Resident separately and should not be billed as a unit. Follow up with Providers to resolve billing discrepancies, invoices and issues. Working in conjunction with Medical Records Department to audit SVC Charts. Work with other nursing departments as need to obtain Resident information. Create an excel Spreadsheet to document verification of services. Organize and scan Resident documents into computer. File and Organize Resident charts as assigned.
