Billing Supervisor

As the Billing Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 5 Billing Specialists and will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff. The Billing Supervisor also provides support in processing all billing and paperwork for therapists in our mental health clinics, ensuring that our therapists can continue to provide life-changing services to our diverse communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BILLING SUPERVISOR:

• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and provide corrective action as needed to billing department staff.
• Verify and track insurance benefits for all mental health services when needed.
• Complete authorization process and track referrals as needed.
• Verify insurance and complete claims processing.
• Balance client and insurance accounts.
• Post payments for assigned programs/departments.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise with EHR YOUR WAY system.
• Work collaboratively with the Client Care Coordinator team.

LOCATION: Hybrid schedule. Position will be mostly remote/WFH, with some on-site hours as needed at our clinic locations in either Kenosha or West Allis.

SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

SALARY: $60,000-63,000 annually

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a resident of Wisconsin or Illinois
• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of experience with medical billing is required
• Medical Billing and Coding certification is preferred
• Knowledge of EHR Your Way system is required
