Catholic Charities is seeking a mission-driven and team-oriented Annual Giving Manager to join our Advancement team. This role focuses on increasing agency impact and revenues by conducting and coordinating essential fundraising activities, managing donor relationships, and maintaining the full grant management cycle from pre- to post-grant award. The Annual Giving Manager plays a critical role in data-driven donor engagement strategies, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and analysis to optimize fundraising efforts.

What You'll Do

As the Annual Giving Manager, you will play a key role in Catholic Charities' mission by managing donor engagement, strategic fundraising efforts, and key projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Grant Management: Oversee applications, reporting, and post-award support for United Way partnerships and other grants to ensure compliance and meet funding goals.
  • Donor Communications & Engagement: Work collaboratively to create impactful written content, including direct mail appeals, acknowledgement letters, agency newsletters, and email updates, to enhance donor stewardship and retention.
  • Advancement Data & Analytics: In cooperation with the Development Associate, maintain and manage the donor database (CRM), ensuring data accuracy, quality control, and strategic utilization to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports to evaluate the performance of fundraising channels, analyze donor engagement trends, and provide insights to guide data-driven decision-making.
  • Digital & Social Media Strategy: Contribute to the online donor experience via our website and social media channels to ensure a cohesive, cross-media approach.
  • Event Support & Donor Relations: Oversee sponsorships to maximize revenue from the Lenten Luncheons and the Good Samaritan Society donor event, fostering community connections to support the mission.
  • Development Support: Participate in agency activities, provide guidance on data utilization for list creation and reporting, and contribute to overall advancement strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, communications, or marketing.
  • Strong written, oral, and design communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling donor-facing content.
  • Proficiency in CRM databases, data analysis, and reporting to support strategic fundraising initiatives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to use creative design software, with an interest in expanding knowledge of nonprofit branding, marketing, and communications.
