ChampionX has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Operations Manager location in NW Houston.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the manufacturing & operations teams including assembly, shipping, supply chain and field support, while ensuring production goals are met.

  • Oversee the inventory and purchasing objectives including, vendor management, forecasting, material planning and replenishment to ensure to ensure production objectives are achieved.

  • Execute production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization, production efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Monitor quality and ensure that production processes adhere to established standards and procedures.

  • Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands and maintain efficient production flow.

  • Support the field operations and ensure support services to customers are met.

  • Hire, train and coach team members, including performance management and accountability planning.

  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college or university degree in Business or related field or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license in state of residence required

  • 8 years of relevant experience; preferred manufacturing or operations background

  • 4 years leading and motivating teams

  • Experience using Oracle or similar ERP system.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level

  • Strong math and analytical skills

  • Excellent supplier and vendor management skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
