What you'll be doing...

We are connecting businesses with their field teams and improving efficiency and improving service levels for our business customers. You will be the primary Verizon Program contact for a key Federal customer, interfacing at multiple levels to help to drive issue resolution, execute project & program requirements, and service improvements. You'll be managing strategic projects that will ultimately drive outstanding customer happiness for our business customers. You'll bring together cross-functional teams across geographic regions to work together to implement programs to make us deliver even better solutions and service to our customers.

* Leading high visibility strategic projects.

* interfacing directly with Federal customers & management

* Forging cross-functional partnerships to get to the work done.

* Crafting detailed project plans and presenting business updates.

* Identifying global resource requirements and pulling in the right people.

* Developing, reviewing, and continuously improving processes.

* Helping to drive service excellence for the customer

Task order responsibility requirements...

The key personnel will provide the following support:

* General management and program oversight for both project management and operational elements, including development of complex project plans to ensure successful migration of processes, programs, and operations.

* Organization of programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

* Leadership of strategic projects related to operational capacity, contractor capabilities, and system support, including operations related to Repair, Testing, and Fulfillment operations.

* Onboarding and stabilization of new operations.

* Development of new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization Creation and management of long-term goals.

* The contractor's Key Personnel will be responsible for providing project updates to senior leadership and ensuring projects are implemented on schedule.

In addition, the contractor's Key Personnel will provide account/customer management, including:

* Understanding customer requirements, suggesting appropriate products or services, and educating the customer on the use of products.

* Coordinating with other departments on behalf of the customer.

* Monitoring ongoing service management issues to ensure performance commitments are met.

* Establishing periodic status meetings and formal program reviews between the Contractor and customer, including any applicable subcontractors, to discuss status of the services.

* Addressing customer concerns related to any product or service provided by the contractor under the contract.

* Managing and tracking Service Orders (SO) for upgrades and new services.

* Coordinating & providing first and last invoice reviews for the services, supporting resolution of open billing or credit action items, and researching billing disputes and issues Providing incident-based dispatches within the specified response service level agreement for break/fix and repair maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

* Planning, initiating, and managing projects

* Leading and guiding the work of technical staff

* Serving as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects

* Planning project stages and assessing business implications for each stage

* Monitoring progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met

* Developing accurate project plans, scope and budget for all assigned projects managing assigned projects from inception to completion ensuring efficiency and completion on time and within budget

* Communicating and coordinating with internal departments as necessary to guarantee project deadlines and customer commitments are met in a timely manner Leading internal and external meetings with other managers and team members to review the status of each job and implementing changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion.

You keep the big picture in focus as you handle the details on the way to the finish line. You have experience in driving complex telecommunications projects successfully.

You'll need to have:

* Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

* Six or more years of relevant work experience.

* Five or more demonstrated experience in managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

* Experience in dealing with large Enterprise or Federal customers at management levels.

* Working ability with Google G-Suite of products (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

* The ability to get a government Public Trust clearance at a minimum

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

* Master's degree. Ideally, in project management.

* Strong demonstrated communications skills

* Motivated and influenced teams to deliver outcomes and results.

* Managed projects with PMI or MSP methodologies.

* PMP Certification

* Practical knowledge of PPM tools.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $81,000.00 and $150,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
