Provides quality customer service to participants and policy owners. Resolves service problems in a customer service environment via multiple channels including phone and email with a focus on quality and timely resolution. Under close supervision, follows standard processes and procedures on assignments of basic to moderate complexity. May refer inquiries beyond level of knowledge or authority to more experienced representatives or published material.
** This role can be filled at our Stevens Point or Madison, WI , El Paso, TX, Freeport, IL, or our Goldsboro, NC Office following a hybrid work model **

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative - 401K & L&A you will:

  • Ensure a quality customer experience for our participants and policy owners by reducing friction points and ensuring an effortless process.
  • Listen to and assesses customer needs to take appropriate action to fulfill their requests.
  • Be a key point of contact for customers, builds positive relationships and creates customer confidence, loyalty, and retention by resolving requests using knowledge, empathy, and sound judgment. Provides timely customer service meeting or exceeding specified service standards.
  • Receives telephone calls for assigned line of business and provides upfront assistance to our participants and policy owners in need of service. These needs may include locating, providing, or obtaining information or documentation, answering questions, routing, or transferring calls as appropriate, entering data, or creating or processing tasks to service participants and or policy owners.

Additionally, you will:

  • Navigate multiple systems and technologies to provide and gather information, document actions taken, and accurately resolve service situations in support of participants and or policy owners.
  • Record and file provided information from each request in the appropriate system application.

What it Takes

  • Associates degree or related work experience
  • Good human relations skills to deal effectively with customer issues in a professional manner. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of how to use a computer, keyboard skills, and familiarity with software applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to navigate through various technology software to research and accurately resolve service situations is critical to the success of this position.
  • Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements, providing reliable and predictable attendance
  • The Denver, CO Role can be filled at $16.88 - $23.21
  • The Freeport, IL role can be filled at $15.27 - $21.00
  • Hours of the position will be 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
