  • Pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Start Date: Mid-May with positions available through the summer season
  • Seasonal: This position is available from Late May to the Beginning of October, aligning with our winter ski and summer bike seasons. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year
  • Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

To provide professional instruction to participants of all mountain bike instructional programs and ensuring a positive memorable mountain experience for guests and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages lesson activities by assessing guest needs and matching staff accordingly.
  • Trains mountain bike instructors through orientation, ongoing education, and certification preparation.
  • Schedules staff to ensure adequate coverage for workloads.
  • Monitors lesson quality by observing groups and assisting with special needs.
  • Resolves guest concerns by listening, taking ownership, and exceeding expectations.
  • Tracks employee performance, provides feedback, and enforces policies.
  • Ensures facility upkeep by overseeing daily clean-up and maintenance.
  • Verifies report accuracy, enters payroll data, and submits incident logs.


Driving:

  • Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program


Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years of mountain bike instructor experience.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification; Bike Coach Level II certification


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
