  • Pay: $15.00 per hour
  • Start Date: Mid-May with positions available through the summer season
  • Seasonal: This position is available from Late May to the Beginning of October, aligning with our winter ski and summer bike seasons. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year
  • Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest safety at aquatics facilities by maintaining vigilant lifeguard practices and life-saving skills.
  • Each lifeguard is responsible for their designated zone and must maintain coverage throughout their shift.
  • Rotate lifeguard stations while ensuring continuous zone coverage.
  • Provide life-saving care using skills from the Ellis & Associates Lifeguarding Program.
  • Daily check and maintain medical equipment (AEDs, trauma bags, O2 tanks, ADA components).
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are in working order and visually appealing.
  • Promote business through communication with community partners and marketing.
  • Use service recovery techniques to address guest concerns.
  • Follow maintenance schedules for vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
  • Adhere to security policies, government requirements, and report safety issues to management.
  • Attend relevant meetings and complete daily operational tasks (e.g., laundry, guest hospitality, landscaping, boating).


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
