Description

We are hiring aRegional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead a high-performing Steelcase sales team based in South Florida. The South Florida market is one of the fastest growing markets in the United States encompassing Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. The RSM will collaborate closely with dealer leadership, dealer sales, Steelcase sales teams, vertical market categories and Steelcase senior leaders to drive profitable growth and gain Steelcase Inc. market share. This is a business leader revenue generating role that requires strong C Suite and market engagement.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years minimum contract furniture experience and record of accomplishment working on major capital projects and with Fortune 500 companies.

  • Located or willing torelocateto Ft. Lauderdale or Miami.

  • Strong leadership, communication, empathy, and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior management experience.

  • Knowledge of local market/region.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manages sales roleswith special focus on specific audiences orproductsto provide leadership, accountability, and direction for sales activities and dealership performance.Analyzes market information anddeterminessales, market share, and profitability goals. Develops strategies and plans for achieving the goals. Appropriately develops and deploys Steelcase sales resources within the sales region/focus tooptimizebusiness results with all key audiences. Implements approved sales and marketing programs within the sales region/focus.

  • Maintain key business relationship in the region with principals of dealerships, key accounts, and market influencers. High level client relationships and networking.

  • Maintain regular communication cadence with sales team and dealers to establishmarketpriorities, align on business objectives, and resource allocation.

  • Demonstrate ability to increase Steelcase mindshare with all key audiences.

  • Capableofsteppinginto sales processto haveimmediate impactinclosing business, while coachinganddevelopingsales team members.

  • Ability to develop a mindset of Business Development (new and existing accounts) with local team anddealers.

  • Ability to balance being a dealer advocate while managing channelconflictandtensions.

  • Lead and motivate team through shared vision, high empathy, and mutual accountability.

  • Weekly management of sales pipeline, sales activity, sales budget, and sales targets to plan.
