Job Description

Danfoss in Easley, SC has an immediate opportunity for a 3rd shift Lathe Operatorto join us at our diverse team. Perform a wide range of duties related to operating lathe machines, secondary machines, and quality inspections as required.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.




  • A demonstrated knowledge of good housekeeping and safety skills in their assigned cells.





  • The demonstrated ability to check the tools correctly and identify which tools need to be replaced.





  • A working knowledge of blueprints and tolerances.The ability to fill out and understand all the SPC charts in their cell.



  • Capable of doing set ups with minimal support from the Team Leader.Meet the production requirements for their assigned area.



  • Perform all routine maintenance on the machines as required by TPM. A demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.




  • Must have broad technical knowledge in machining and the related controls.





  • High School education or GED equivalency. Must have basic math skills.



  • Must be able to work standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.



  • Must have knowledge of QA gauge tools (i.e. - calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.)
