Requirements

    Bachelor's in Engineering, Acquisition, Business Administration or related field; and ten years' work related experience with three to five years of experience in proposal management
  • Well-versed in Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisitions and the application of proposal management processes to deliver complete, compliant, and compelling solutions to DoD challenges
  • Ability to understand the application of complex, technical, professional disciplines and translate those concepts to written documents that can be understood by both technical and non-technical individuals


Desired Skills

  • Ability to coach briefer supporting oral proposals
  • Experience with GSA and FEDSIM requests for proposals
  • Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain working files and revisions of documents
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams


Description

  • Work as a member of the Bid and Proposal Office (BPO) Team reporting directly to the Vice President of Business and Strategy
  • Oversee assigned proposal efforts through the gate review process, work as part of the team to develop the written proposal, and coordinate with the capture manager throughout the opportunity process
  • Work as part of the writing team to take "content pieces" obtained through interviews with the subject matter experts and research from our in-house repository and produce a proposal document compliant to the requirements and responsive to the Proposal Plan
  • Ensure proposed solution complies with the requirements identified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements as well as the Performance Work Statement or Statement of Work in the solicitation
  • May be working on more than one proposal at a time. Individual must be able to engage the Business Unit Lead, Capture Manager, and or subject matter experts to produce an effective proposal response
  • Provide support to engineering staff and management on the planning, capture, development and submission of proposal opportunities
  • May develop new customer contacts and conceptualize solutions to customer problems for new opportunities
  • Identify long-range contract opportunities and research business intelligence on the opportunity in support of management divisional goals
  • Will also support Division and Corporate marketing activities at trade shows and other external events

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
