About the role:

The Debit Applications Product Owner is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for debit applications.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business goals.

The Product Owner acts as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product delivers maximum value to users.

What you will be doing:

  • Product Vision and Strategy - Define and communicate the product vision and strategy. - Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business objectives and user needs. - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements. - Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to stakeholders. - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with the product vision.
  • Backlog Management - Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog. - Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. - Ensure the development team understands the backlog items and their priorities.
  • Development Process - Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Provide clarifications and make decisions to unblock the development team as needed.
  • User Experience and Design - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-centric designs. - Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on product features. - Ensure the product provides an excellent user experience and meets usability standards.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance. - Analyze data to identify trends, user behaviors, and areas for improvement. - Make data-driven decisions to enhance the product.

What you will need:

  • Seasoned Product Owner with at least 3-5 years of recent experience with leading teams and driving

  • Ability to clearly articulate the product vision and requirements to stakeholders and the development team.

  • 3-5 years of recent experience with Agile methodologies and principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • 3-5 years of recent experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!).

  • 3-5 years of recent experience with UX/UI design principles and best practices.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in Fintech/Banking.

  • Experience in debit authorization application development.

  • Highly Desired Experience with Connex applications

  • Certification in Agile (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).

  • Experience with data analysis and A/B testing.

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management.
