Overview: Busness Continuity Disaster Recovery Manager

Position can be done Remote (Work from Home).

The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Manager will serve as a key member of the security incident response and crisis management teams during incidents, coordinating cross-departmental response efforts. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and executing the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) and strategies to ensure our organization can continue operating during and after disruptive events. The BC/DR manager will also be responsible for managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, and overall program reporting in relation to the risk management business continuity policy. In addition, the BC/DR Manager will oversee the Business Impact Assessments, the creation of Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery Plans for appropriate risk identification, risk mitigation, and issue management across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 years of years of experience in Security, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, Operational Resiliency, Risk Management, Operations, Auditing, and/or Consulting for those meeting degree requirements.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Other:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the business resiliency planning cycle including analysis, design, implementation, validation, testing, problem resolution.
  • Expertise and knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
  • Knowledge of Best Practice COSO, FFIEC, and ISO 22301Personal Attributes:
  • A high degree of integrity, professionalism, and capacity to excel in a cohesive team environment.
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing needs and demands.
  • Excels at analysis, problem-solving and strategic alignment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills, can communicate effectively at all organizational levels.Technical Skills:
  • Advanced in Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with BC/DR tools and risk management solutions
  • Experience with GRC systems and tools
  • Experience with data analytics, and data visualizations tools (a plus)
  • Preferred Requirements: Experience in the Healthcare industry is preferred
  • Preferred Certifications:

    • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
    • Certified Cyber Resilience Professional (CCRP)
    • Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
