Painter - 2^nd Shift Kress is looking for a full time Painter - 2^nd Shift to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. Our Kress paint team will paint or coat surfaces of heavy mobile material handling equipment and associated parts for use in mining, mill operations, construction, and military service using commercial wet spray-painting equipment. This position will coordinate the completion of painting parts and vehicles with the production team to ensure all jobs are done in accordance with quality and safety standards. Position will receive an additional 15% second-shift premium Responsibilities - Communicates with production, maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products Clean, sand, and coat parts with air powered equipment and tools, paint scrapers, and pneumatic paint guns Move totes, parts, and equipment using a pallet jack and/or fork lift Make adjustments to paint booth, guns and all equipment Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations Qualifications - 2+ years prior commercial painting experience 3+ years' experience in a technical/mechanical related field Fork lift certified Maintain Kress safety standards at all times Kress Benefits - Group Health Insurance including Prescriptions Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays
