Description Acara Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for our client in Lockport, NY! In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming material and performing quality inspections on components. This includes recording, tracking, and reporting the results of inspections, and assisting with implementing corrective actions. 9+month contract position $21-$23/hr based on experience 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Read and understand engineering documents to ensure incoming material is compliant. Accurately communicate results of inspection activities and work with quality personnel when issues are found. Perform inspections on manufactured and repaired products by the use of manual and automated measuring equipment. Keep accurate and up to date records on inspection failures. Perform First Article Inspections on products. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: 1+ years' experience working in the electronics field in a Quality Control role. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (metalwork, PCB assemblies, cables, components). Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. High School Diploma/GED.
