Job Summary:

The Site Reliability Engineer is a full-stack developer and individual contributor on an Agile team, responsible for maintaining and supporting production applications. Focused on reliability, performance, and automation, they reduce toil by streamlining operations, improving system resilience, and enhancing monitoring and incident response.

Job role and responsibilities:

• Ensure system reliability - getting systems back to steady-state as quickly as possible.
• Automate wherever possible - reduce toil.
• Configure monitoring and logging of systems in order to obtain better visibility.
• Help design processes that automatically evaluate system SLA.
• Be proactive, identify and remediate issues before SLAs are violated.
• Driving better cross-team collaboration - work with Product development team, DevOps group and Operations.
• Debug applications to find root cause of the issues.
