About the opportunity
SWCA is looking for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Project Level Geospatial Scientist for SWCA's Texas/Gulf Coast (TXGC) operations. At SWCA, our GIS Department is comprised of over 70 GIS professionals with diverse expertise in GIS design, cartography, data management, and more. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both our Natural and Cultural Resource programs in the Texas/Gulf Coast subregion while collaborating with other SWCA offices nationwide. In Houston, TX, an employee in this positions can expect the following rates: Assistant Project Geospatial Scientist $28.94/hr. to $37.13/hr.; Associate Project Geospatial Scientist $67,572.96/yr. to $86,879.52.00/yr.; Project Geospatial Scientist $74,954.88/yr to $96,532.80/yr., depending on experience, geographic locations, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.
