Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Schedule preventive maintenance (PM) duties at Energy Transfer Geismar Olefins facilities for all rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Work with operations and maintenance departments, engineering and management to track, trend, report and take effective corrective actions regarding equipment failures.
  • Help develop and maintain the mechanical integrity program. Supervise technicians assigned to preventive maintenance duties.
  • Assist with work plan development as necessary.
  • Participate in meetings and provide suggestions for equipment reliability improvements.
  • Ensure manufacturer's procedures are followed and recommended materials are used for maintenance activities.


Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

* An Associates degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent years of training.

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance operations including maintenance skilled craft knowledge (i.e., pipe fitting, electrical, instrumentation, machinery, etc.).

* Must have excellent PC skills and be proficient with applicable software applications.

* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.

* Must be familiar with and or able to implement company safety policies and procedures.
