We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Client Processing to join our BNY GOVERNMENT SECURITIES SERVICES team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Perform the pro-active monitorization of all GSS business settlement processes, learning, understanding all available and active real-time monitoring tools, including but not limited to: internal and external MQ channels, BConnect, CFI, liquid plus, anomaly detection tools, DOD, chat bots, Eliza AI, etc.
- Supports internal and external clients with various clearing and collateral management processes. This includes all start, intraday and end of day functions (including but not limited to: Triparty deal unwinds, NFE free-delivery releases, Reasonability deliveries, Construction loan to Project loan cusip conversions, Treasury Auction issuance announcements and coordinates release of the operating system at end of day. Liaise between external clients and the Federal Reverse Bank. Communicates all system related problems for each BDS operating system to CCM Technology, BNY datacenter and coordinates that communication with appropriate parties. Reconciles the entire Fed-book entry holding with the Fed for both cash and securities.
- P&I Reconcilement and Security Database Managers (as it relates to P&I). Includes the balancing & reconciling of all Fed eligible products (MBS & non-MBS), Repo Tracking, Fail Tracking and Interim Reporting.
- DTC Pledge and Release Administrator. Responsible for monitoring the BDS clients release requests to ensure that they process in a timely manner. Coordinates with the Admin any failed release due to NFE or location. Monitors BDS clients Pledges to ensure that they process in a timely manner. Manually add security records to the DTC database if they are yet available on our systems applications.
- Daily work, communicate and coordinate with the New Jersey Bridge team.
- Weekly rotational work schedule. Weekend availability required.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience
