JOB SUMMARY: The User Experience Designer will collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to understand and translate user needs into design solutions that align with product vision and deliver business value. In addition to working on projects, you will help create team processes and a culture of research.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to shape product/feature vision and help ensure we are solving the right problems for our users.
2. Use best practices, user insights, and analytics to inform design decisions.
3. Communicate your design approach throughout the process using the best approach for the scenario, which could include wireframes, user flows, journey or service maps, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
4. Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of design and smooth implementation.
5. Advocate for users throughout the entire process.
6. Think holistically about complex systems and problems.
7. Work within a set of established patterns, identify opportunities for improvements and create new patterns where necessary.
8. Help create and improve design team processes, deliverables, and tools (we currently use Figma, Miro, Confluence, OneDrive, Word, Excel, and Jira).
9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
11. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.
12. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High-Risk Role.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent possesses strong interaction design skills, experience working with data visualizations or data-intensive products, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to find solutions to complex problems that serve diverse user communities in complex domains.
