Summary

The Marketing Project Coordinator I is responsible for providing support to the Marketing team and assisting with the fulfillment of all incoming marketing requests. This position will assist in developing and enhancing long-term partnerships with all Community Banks, Departments, and the internal Marketing Team. This position is also responsible for responding to incoming calls and marketing emails, distributing marketing materials to community banks, assisting with inventory management of promotional goods and other general administrative duties.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

This role encompasses three core duties: Coordination, Logistics & Communication, and Implementation.

Coordination

  • Coordinates the intake and fulfillment of direct support requests that come from local market leaders, FMMs, SLWAs, and SMAs.
  • Coordinates the intake and fulfillment of direct support requests that come from corporate leadership and departments.
  • Distributes marketing materials to community banks while ensuring each bank has discarded previous materials and has the appropriate materials displayed.

Logistics & Communication

  • Assists with reports, data entry, and the building of presentations for the Marketing team.
  • To support campaign strategy, conducts research on consumer needs, competitor strategies, and industry trends.
  • Assists with the management of the inventory of promotional goods and distributing marketing materials to community banks.

Implementation

  • Assists the Community Bank Marketing Manager in the creation of ads, social posts and printed materials for all community bank events. Sets the design team up for success by providing creative brief and copy points for use in designed campaign materials.
  • Works closely with Vendors and Suppliers and assures that internal customers experience seamless service and have a relevant and worthwhile inventory of items to choose from.
  • Responsible for handling all day-to-day needs and coordination of campaigns for in-branch video displays.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists Marketing Department on other projects when necessary
  • Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures
  • Dresses professionally

Performance Metrics

Key performance metrics include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to meet established project turn-around time requirements
  • Prompt fulfillment of requests from internal customers
  • Feedback from internal product, LOB, and channel partners

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have experience in corporate marketing or communications, experience with media firm or agency, or currently pursuing a Marketing degree.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.

Technical/Functional Competencies

  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
