This Student Nursing Externship is an 10-week program designed to offer students the opportunity to be trained by some of Hopkins finest nurses! What's in it for you? Hands-On Patient Care: Assist registered nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary teams by providing direct patient care. Learn and apply clinical skills in a supportive and supervised environment. Mentorship: Work 1:1 with an experienced RN for guidance and support. Enhanced Educational Opportunities! In addition to your experience with a bedside RN, receive additional education classes and skills day on targeted topics! Career Development: After program completion, opportunity to stay on throughout the year in a clinical role! Opportunities available in the following areas: Observation Oncology Medical Telemetry General Surgery Telemetry, Trauma General Surgery, Trauma Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shifts: Day/Night Rotating Shifts; Weekends required Location: Bethesda, MD Who should apply: Maryland CNA certification and CPR is required Must be available from June 2nd - August 9th Rising seniors preferred with an anticipated graduation date of Dec '25 or May '26 Salary Range: Minimum 20.00 per hour - Maximum 20.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
