Position Summary:

Are you passionate about transforming the workforce and driving impactful change?

Join us as the Senior Manager of Training & Development at NHSc US Operations, where you'll spearhead our Learning & Development initiatives with innovation and vision. You'll architect our upskilling strategy, foster consistency, and build a robust leadership framework.

Your mission is to elevate employee competencies and strengthen organizational capabilities, ensuring our team is Future-Ready. You will develop and execute cutting-edge training programs that empower our workforce and drive excellence, while collaborating with various sites, functions, and the NHSc US Corporate Learning & Development team to lead talent development programs.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide specialized expertise in leadership development for factory front line leaders and create a competency matrix framework to guide training efforts. Your work will directly impact the growth and success of our organization, driving critical change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Nestle Health Science US Operations priorities, starting from onboarding, operator competency matrix building to leadership training and organization capability building (ie Digital, Manufacturing Excellence/TPM).
    • Identify training needs, benchmark what is existing internally within Nestle and design programs that address skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
  • Program Management:
    • Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
    • Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve learning initiatives and measure their impact on business performance.
  • Leadership Development:
    • Design and implement leadership development programs aimed at nurturing future leaders within the Operations organization starting with front-line leaders.
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance leadership skills and competencies.
  • Cross-functional Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
    • Guide, mentor and develop a network of site functional development professionals to enhance their skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and high-performance.
    • Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (NHSc US HR and Operations leaders, Global Corporate Operations training and learning manager, NUSA Operations Functional Development team and CoE) to drive alignment on learning initiatives with organizational goals and talent management strategies and support for functional development initiatives.
    • Build strong partnership with external training providers and consultants to enhance program offerings.
  • External insights:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
    • Analyze market trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth within functional areas.
  • Compliance & Standards and Budget Management:
    • Ensure all learning and development activities comply with Nestle's policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage the budget for learning and development initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organization Development/Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on program management and organizational development.
  • Factory Operations experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capacity to "train the trainers" (Content/Subject experts).

  • "Digital acumen": ability to leverage the opportunities generated by digital learning technologies.
  • Proficient in the use of training tools (i.e., eLearning development, video creation, iLearn (Nestle learning platform), AI, Articulate, Canva, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, etc.).
  • 25% domestic travel to factory locations across the US.

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $160,000.00to $200,000.00.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
