The Opportunity

This role reports to the VP, Education, working closely with the Education Leadership Team (Edu LT) to drive strategic planning, execution, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, strategic thought partner, and operational leader, ensuring alignment across the organization and driving key initiatives that enhance business performance.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in ambiguity, operates with urgency, and is passionate about driving business impact through alignment, efficiency, and execution excellence.

What you'll do

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead as a top-level adviser, confidant, sounding board and extension of the VP/GM

  • Partner with Edu LT to develop and execute both annual and rolling strategic plans.

  • Ensure alignment across the leadership team, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and continuously iterating on strategy.

  • Lead critical programs addressing AES (Adobe Education Solutions) opportunities.

Financial & Operational Efficiency
  • Drive ongoing cost trade-off discussions to optimize both variable and fixed investments based on performance, outcomes, and business priorities.

  • Establish and maintain dashboards for all key business metrics, ensuring alignment on success measurement, business analytics, and insights.

  • Streamline operational processes, including meeting cadence, decision-making speed, and cross-functional workflows.

Initiatives and Programs
  • Partner with GM and HRBP to drive implementation of strategic initiatives and programs that are critical to the engagement of our teams, customers, and communities

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a bridge across the organization, ensuring clear communication and successful implementation of strategic and operational decisions.

  • Lead internal and external communications for the GM and the broader Education business.

  • Advocate for the organization in cross-functional discussions, fostering a culture of inclusive leadership and urgency.

What you'll need to succeed
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in strategic operations, consulting, or Chief of Staff roles, working closely with senior leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or management consulting experience preferred.

  • Strong ability to break down complex problems, synthesize insights from data, and drive informed decision-making.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with high impact.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; expertise in PowerPoint and executive communications.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • High level of adaptability, critical thinking, and attention to operational detail.

  • Exceptional judgment, integrity, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $156,900 -- $349,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
