Role and Responsibilities:


We are looking for a Cashier to join our team! This job is a great opportunity that requires no experience - we will train you! Your main job will be to help customers by taking their orders and processing payments.



  • Greet customers warmly as they enter the Galley and make them feel welcome.

  • Process customer orders by using a cash register or point-of-sale system.

  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and give the correct change.

  • Bag items or prepare food for customers when needed.

  • Answer questions about menu items or prices in a clear and friendly way.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cashier counter.

  • Assist in keeping the Galley clean, including wiping down surfaces and taking care of spills.

  • Work with other team members to keep the Galley running smoothly, helping out where needed.

  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and team members.


Qualifications:



  • No experience, No Problem!

  • Friendly and reliable.

  • Have a positive attitude.

  • Able to work well with a team.


Preferred Skills:



  • A positive attitude and a passion for helping others.

  • Ability to handle money and basic math skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in your role


Physical & Environmental Demands:



  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

  • Ability to lift or pull up to 20 pounds or more.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach when necessary.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks at once.

  • Work in a noisy environment due to customer traffic and kitchen activity.

  • Exposure to heat from cooking areas and cold from refrigerated sections.

  • Must be able to work in a clean, well-maintained environment.

  • Must be able to wear required uniforms, including non-slip shoes for safety.
