*Description*
- Wants to have people with 1 - 3 years' experience with ABAP - No FSCD or S/4 experience required - Biggest thing is that they want someone with a baseline experience with SAP ABAP so they can hit the ground somewhat running - Can work out of Lansing, Grand Rapids or Traverse City 2 days a week when they get hired in - Will need to go in the office for 4 days a week during the training period but people with experience are likely to get through that quicker - Must have an IT Degree, helpful if they have any sort of SAP schoolwork too - Typically, they need to have a GPA of 3.3 or higher but if they have the experience it won't be required - SAP Roadmap: - Finishing up the FSCD upgrade - Will be doing a bug fix over the next year - Moving everything to S/4 HANA SAP ABAP Software Developer Our SAP ABAP Software Developers: - Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software programs and applications - Actively participate in code/design reviews as well as brainstorming sessions - Develop program and system documentation - Analyze and fix software errors in a timely and accurate fashion - Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and suggest alternatives - Work with development technologies that include but are not limited to the following: SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, SQL, Java, JavaScript and CSS Desired Skills and Experience - A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Math, a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. - Experience with Eclipse ADT, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model, Core Data Services, and OData - Exposure to Reports, Forms, Classic Dynpro, SAP Fiori, and table development is desired - Enthusiasm for driving improvement by finding and implementing solutions to new challenges - Must be able to learn and effectively use tools and software development techniques as practiced, acquired, or adopted within the Division Proactive and Goal Oriented - Understands project vision and goals and possesses the drive to produce required daily deliverables and project milestone deliverables. Highly motivated and willing to put in the time and effort necessary to get the job done in the timeline provided Planning and Organization - Effective at managing time and prioritizing tasks. Team work - Enjoys working in teams with a diverse group of people Attitude - Looking for a challenge and a positive attitude Methodology - Willingness to learn and work in an agile methodology. *For our WFH policy, we are asking that CTH candidates be on site for the training. Training can vary by team but it could be anywhere from 3-8 weeks depending on the team and pace of the CTH candidate. While the CTH is in training we may offer them 20% WFH each week, which would typically be 4 days in the office and 1 WFH day each week. Once they are out of training their leader may grant more WFH flexibility based performance, this is 2 days per week onsite of each week. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
