*Description* We are seeking a highly skilled engineer, with extensive experience in container orchestration, automation scripting, and CI/CD processes. This role requires a deep understanding of how to automate manual processes using shell scripting or Python, and the ability to connect and interact with various APIs (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins) to streamline the CI/CD pipeline. This person needs to have OpenShift expertise and be (OCP) certified. * This is not a leadership nor a business-facing position. They will have no direct reports and will purely be technical/individual contributor. * The role requires a proactive individual who can challenge existing processes and suggest improvements. * The candidate should be able to work independently and think critically about the most efficient ways to automate and optimize CI/CD processes. Key Responsibilities: * Automate various processes such as deployments, builds, and other manual tasks using tools like Ansible, shell scripting, and Python * Leverage expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes to implement automated solutions, including monitoring, logging, and API integration * Provide insights and suggest more efficient ways of doing things as the company ventures into the Open Container Platform (OCP) space * Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. *Top Skills Details* OpenShift, CI/CD, Bash/Shell scripting, Python, Ansible *Additional Skills & Qualifications* OCP Certification (preferably for OpenShift) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
