Insurance based specialized consultant who will drive sales growth toward financial plan within the Advisor Network. You will leverage competitive market insights to position Mutual of Omaha's and our non-proprietary insurance solutions utilizing comparative technology platforms. In this role, you'll assist our Mutual of Omaha Career Agents and Financial Representatives in case consultations, case design and sales language through knowledge of insurance market trends and carrier positioning to help close business. You will also provide strategic sales support, and position products effectively to meet client needs. You'll also deliver product education, marketing strategies, and quoting and illustration support for Mutual of Omaha and all non-proprietary carriers on the Advisor Network platform. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:



  • Base Salary: Minimum: $51,000 MidPoint: $65,000 Maximum: $79,000, plus commission.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Drive Sales Growth & Agent Success - Proactively engage with agents to increase sales across multiple product lines and carrier portfolios through prospecting, case design, and sales consultation. Provide expert guidance to help agents close deals and maximize revenue.
  • Sales & Distribution Leadership - Support the distribution of Mutual of Omaha and non-proprietary insurance products by recruiting and onboarding agents, delivering field training, and enhancing agent effectiveness through strategic sales support and compliance oversight.
  • Market & Product Expertise - Act as a trusted advisor by offering in-depth knowledge of carrier portfolios, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations. Provide sales strategies, product positioning, and lead-generation support to help agents drive business growth.
  • Relationship Management & Collaboration - Build strong relationships with Sales Agents, Advisors, and APCs, offering ongoing coaching, performance monitoring, and solutions for client development. Partner with internal marketing and technology teams to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Training & Sales Strategy Development - Design and deliver engaging training programs, e-learning modules, and workshops to enhance agent knowledge and effectiveness. Stay up to date on Mutual of Omaha's sales strategies, complete certifications, and present expertise at industry events.




WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • Proven Sales Expertise - Extensive experience in sales with a strong track record of driving results and building successful client relationships.
  • Licensed & Ready to Travel - Holds active Life & Health Insurance Licenses with the flexibility to travel up to 15% as needed to support agents and business initiatives.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge - Deep understanding of insurance products, sales strategies, and market dynamics to support agents and maximize business opportunities.
  • Effective Communication & Coaching - Ability to translate complex insurance concepts into clear, actionable insights for agents and clients. Skilled in training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance agent performance.
  • Strong Organizational & Presentation Skills - Excellent time management, public speaking, and creative/technical writing abilities to deliver impactful training and sales support.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work at our office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.



PREFERRED:



  • Licensed & Credentialed - Holds securities licenses, demonstrating expertise in financial products and the ability to support a wide range of investment and insurance solutions.
