Summary:

The main function of a sales associate is to sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses or groups of individuals. A typical sales associate is responsible for making buyers and purchasing agents interested in their merchandise, demonstrating their products and explaining how those products could benefit the customer, by reducing costs and/or increasing sales. The main function of a sales manager directs the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. A typical sales manager coordinates sales distribution and analyzes sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.

Responsibilities:



  • Employer Purchase Program ("EPP") New Partner On-Boarding & Management
  • Prospect the Fortune 500 & 1000 for new EPP partners
  • Manage the subsequent relationship with new EPP partners
  • Work with partners to develop "never been done before" initiatives to increase awareness of clients EPP program by employees within the employers served by each partner
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the partner's overall employee benefit plans, strategies and tactics, in order to ensure that client is consistently receiving exposure commensurate with engagement and revenue goals
  • Ensure that data sharing practices are occurring between partner and client, in order to allow personalization of offers, product visibility, etc. to occur across each partner's employee portfolio
  • Function as the primary relationship manager and "Subject Matter Expert," providing thought leadership on how EPP programs lead to increased employee engagement and morale, and making recommendations on how employers can improve employee awareness of clients EPP program
  • Responsible for growth of key direct-to-consumer sales acquisition channel
  • Leads cross-functional teams and initiatives; must be able to influence outcomes through strong leadership and expertise.
  • Track customer requests and status while working with various internal teams to fulfill the need
  • Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement and growth both within accounts and more broadly with Samsung B2B eCommerce



Requirements:



  • 3-5+ years' experience with a proven track record in sales, account management, customer service, business development and strategic sales, preferably in Technology companies
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to navigate organization to gather information, elicit feedback, gain buy-in, and engage others in B2C activities
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Digital marketing/sales experience, preferably within an eCommerce business
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce marketing best practices and trends; eCommerce marketing thought leadership
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • A "get it done now" attitude with experience and capability to work in a highly autonomous environment
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to create and maintain good sales records and forecasting
  • Sales professional with strong ability to sell to different customer profiles and the ability to pitch and manage multiple account
  • Relationships and contacts within existing Fortune 500 HR and IT strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative; always looking at improving the customer experience and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary
  • Knowledge of direct-to-consumer eCommerce business practices and operations is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of premium brand channel sales, marketing, and operational processes is desirable
