Description Security 101 is seeking a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing programming and servicing commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall security systems. Responsibilities Install and maintain a variety of security systems, including CCTV, access controls, burglar/intrusion and low voltage wiring. Troubleshoot and repair various security equipment and systems, ensuring optimal functionality. Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations. Document service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success. Work with subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and on budget. Provide direction to less skilled technicians. Skills Install, Security, Cctv, Access control, Alarm systems, Alarms Top Skills' Details 1) Experience in Security systems: 3 years (Required) 2) Basic Experience in Cabling/Low voltage 3) Good communication - this will be a customer facing job, needs to be comfortable with communicating with customers onsite frequently Additional Skills & Qualifications The Right Candidate: Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems. Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision. Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills. Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism. Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential. Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer's satisfaction. Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR. Current certification in one of the following is a plus: Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
