Pay Range: $65K-$82K

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):



  • Manage and oversee a specific department and team within the production process.
  • Coordinate the team's activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals.
  • Manage and inspect the team's output to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Estimate production material needs and manage inventory.
  • Teach the team company safety policies and enforce all safety regulations with a goal of zero incidents.
  • Collaborate with the team and management to identify and implement ways to improve production and safety.
  • Help to mediate and resolve conflicts within the team.
  • Directs work group or department to assure on-time production and/or delivery
  • Selects and trains employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency.
  • Maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain high employee morale and positive relationships.
  • Teach safe work practices, good housekeeping procedures and seeing that they are adhered to.
  • Have machines and/or equipment kept in good repair.
  • Responsible for accuracy of required administrative reports and record keeping.
  • Manage absenteeism, scrap and waste.
  • Frequent contact with office staff giving and/or receiving information.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining safe working culture.
  • Strong 6S and Lean experience preferred.
  • Experience leading Kaizen events preferred.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):



  • Two years' experience in supervising others and maintaining efficient and productive work groups.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills required.


  • Skills in developing, communicating and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with and among employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving sense of urgency
  • Solid computer skills, to include data entry, Excel, and Word
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A bachelor's degree, associate degree, or certification in a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
