How You'll Make an Impact

  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the safe use of all equipment and resources.

  • Manage and train employees, ensuring they understand and achieve Section KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

  • Track and enter hourly employees' time into the timekeeping system.

  • Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress.

  • Provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.

  • Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, and recommending actions.

  • Use excellent people skills to coach and communicate effectively, accomplishing daily deliverables.

  • Provide clear direction to the work group, setting priorities proactively and managing conflicts effectively.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience; OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of manufacturing experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of manufacturing experience.

  • Work authorization that permits employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • Broad experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing implementation and Six Sigma training.

  • Ability to work all shifts and periodic weekend work.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation from others.

  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
