Position Summary:

The Jefferson High School Member Service Representative will be accountable for providing accurate, professional, and knowledgeable member service to all Purdue Federal members and potential members. Assisting sales staff in exceeding monthly branch production goals by referring Purdue Federal products and services. Must comply with all SAFE Act regulation procedures.

*Employees are expected to demonstrate and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC, CIP, and internal policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

* Member Service

• Process member transactions accurately, efficiently and timely by focusing on balancing
• Successful problem resolution and assistance to members regarding products and services
• Increase member product usage through exchanges and effective relationship building
• Inform and educate members on Purdue Federal products and services described in
• Maintain product knowledge and expertise on Purdue Federal products and services.

• Support Sales Staff




• Assist in meeting branch production goals by focusing on deepening relationships through referrals
• Process incoming mail

• Branch Security and Compliance




• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations
• Ensure compliance with all Purdue Federal compliance and procedures up to and including Morning Glory and proper closing procedure

• Individual and Team Development




• Cross-training
• Professional development

* Marketing Ambassador

  • Build Purdue Federal Credit Union's brand awareness in your school. Advocate for the credit union to help students build a strong financial foundation.
  • Determine best practices to communicate products and services to parents and students.
  • Represent the credit union at athletic events or other school activities by sharing products and services and handing out promotional items specific to your school. (5-10 events per year)
  • Shadow marketing and additional departments, based on students' areas of post-graduation interest.
  
  
  
  

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

* Must be a Jefferson High School Student currently enrolled In the Interdisciplinary Cooperative Experience (ICE) Program

• Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
• Competent computer skills
• Ability to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership
• Member service skills
• Problem solving skills
• Sales experience
