What you will do: TheStrategic Account Directoris responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role focuses on developing long-term partnerships with strategic accounts, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in enterprise sales, account management, and strategic planning. Reporting to the Director of Sales for the Americas, this position will have 6 direct reports who manage specific accounts across the region. How you will do it:
Account Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact. Strategic Planning:Create and execute account strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth. Revenue Generation:Identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services to existing accounts. Customer Engagement:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and value delivery Negotiation & Contract Management:Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and renewals to maximize profitability Market & Competitive Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to enhance customer experience Reporting & Forecasting:Track and report key metrics, including revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer retention rates
What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related work experience 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or business development Strong understanding of sales methodologies and account planning Demonstrated success in managing and expanding strategic accounts Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Experience working in Fire Suppression Industry Ability to travel up to 50%
