Job Description



Leads the engineering, design and implementation of Information Technology infrastructure plans as it relates to applications that support the health system. Collaborates with architects, application service lines, security, network engineers and the data center to deploy and support infrastructure related to projects aligned to projects.

Job Responsibility





  • Engineers, manages and executes design by coordinating with architects in support of application and business driven projects. Provides recommendations where necessary to facilitate design changes/improvements; engineers and builds to predefined and agreed upon specs, provides infrastructure performance monitoring, capacity monitoring and day to day operational support to ensure availability of systems, and recovery where defined and also available.
  • Uses knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of functional objectives and principles to achieve goals in innovative ways. Problems addressed are of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Job Qualification




  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience and progressive experience where team leadership was demonstrated, required.
  • Certifications: Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro, or Intune certifications (preferred).



Preferred Skills and Abilities


  • Advanced expertise with Workspace ONE UEM, Jamf Pro, Intune, Microsoft 365, iOS, and Android platforms using automated enrollment methodologies supporting corporate-owned, shared, ruggedized, and BYOD mobile devices.


  • Experience with Windows 2xxx server, Cloud migrations of on-premises hosts (Azure, GCP), and deploying OVA/OVF configurations.


  • Proficiency in configuration profiles, compliance policies, application management, and Entra/Active Directory integration.


  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) and experience with REST APIs for bulk administration tasks.


  • Exceptional communication, technical writing, task management, and problem-solving abilities.


  • Initiative to learn new technologies, make independent decisions, and manage projects with minimal supervision.



  • Experience acting as the technical lead for cross-functional teams, partnering with IT, security, compliance and end-use support teams.


  • Collaborate with network, security, systems administration, and application teams to ensure service availability and resolve complex issues.


  • Conducting systems integration testing to ensure compatibility with technical standards and policies.


  • Evaluating and recommending hardware, software, and management tools for mobile devices and endpoints.


  • Providing functional expertise and technical guidance to resolve production issues, serving as a Level 3 escalation point.
