Job Title: R&D Electrical Engineering Co-op

Location(s): Newton, MA

Job Description:

This is a role well suited to an ambitious student, looking for the next step in their career. As a R&D Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible to:


  • In your activities you will be responsible for projects and tasks associated with product development for an electro-mechanical robot.
  • You will test new or existing products in the development cycle to characterize performance.
  • You will be involved in analyzing circuits on printed circuit boards.
  • You will update electronic CAD part libraries.


This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career:


  • You have a strong foundation of electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • You have experience with testing electronic circuits and related systems using electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, digital volt-meters).
  • You are able to solder and design and construct fixtures.
  • You are able to organize a project, set expected outputs and deliver expected outputs during planned milestones.


Required qualifications to have for the success of this role:


  • Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics majors are preferred. Other majors with Robotics concentration will be considered
  • High GPA is highly desired
  • Open to all levels of co-ops. 2nd and 3rd co-op cycles given priority.
