Summary:

Bamboo Health is seeking an experienced sales executive to accelerate new and existing growth in community markets (post-acute & various provider organizations). As a Market Development Director, you will be responsible for selling net-new logos within the community space while retaining and cross-selling existing customers. You will create and build relationships with targeted community providers in your region to explore, structure, and close partnership opportunities that build Bamboo Health's network and create a seamless care journey for patients across the health care continuum. You will drive growth efforts to meet Bamboo Health's ambitious sales and retention targets while independently managing your territory.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage strategic and tactical plans to deliver Bamboo Health solutions that meet the prospect's business goals while attaining aggressive Bamboo Health sales and retention targets:
    • Identify potential business opportunities
    • Create effective and creative prospecting to secure meetings
    • Qualify business opportunities, understanding problems, needs, and motivations
    • Engage executives and other key stakeholders to develop opportunities and retain current customers
    • Manage deal negotiation and contracting - Understand and align planning with prospect's budgeting process and timelines
    • Provide timely and accurate forecasts - Communicate clearly and effectively with management regarding risks and upside
    • Ensure that SFDC accurately reflects opportunity progression and client health
    • Maintain current and reflective account planning documentation
    • Lead commercial growth and "own" the strategic and tactical plans to drive growth within the assigned territory

What Success Looks Like...

In 3 months...

  • Gain command of territory and current book of business, establish a plan for how to achieve quota and retention goals in the most efficient way possible, build sellable pipeline and work through an entire sales cycle independently resulting in closed won opportunities
  • Deeply understand the problems Bamboo Health solves and associated solutions
  • Independently present Bamboo Health solutions and facilitate prospect/customer meetings with the support of team leadership

In 6 months...

  • Implement a sales plan including key personal development goals that will be significant to your success over the next 6 months
  • Operate independently within territory to create work and close pipeline to achieve quarterly goals

In 12 months...

  • Further develop Bamboo Health's community partnerships adding net new relationships
  • Develop current book of business, maintain strong relationships within your top accounts, and work cross-sell opportunities
  • Consistently execute accurate quarterly forecasts

What You Need:

  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding measurable performance goals, with 3+ years in SaaS sales or a similar healthcare setting and a minimum of 7 years in overall sales
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Preferred experience with value-based reimbursement and health system transformation
  • A mission-driven mindset with a passion for driving meaningful change
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage a large, diverse workload with a strong work ethic
  • High emotional intelligence, including empathy, self-awareness, and respect for others
