Software Systems Engineer

Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Industrial Base Management System (IBMS). This position is 100% Remote at the discretion of the Government. The candidate will support the sustainment and modernization of two Department of Defense (DoD) Web Based Applications. The candidate will resolve defects and design and develop software enhancements using the Agile Software Development methodology.

The primary job responsibilities will include:

System Familiarization
• Database Schema Review
• Software Design
• Mockup Development
• Prototype Development
• Automated Unit and Accessibility Testing
• Agile Software Development
• Software Deployments
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Required:

• Five (5) years relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or
  private sector in the IT field
• Minimum Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
• Security + Certification

Desired:

• DLA Experience
• DOD Experience
• Computing Environment: CIW Advanced HTML 5 & CSS3 Specialist Certification

Salary: 90-115k
